Manzi Returns to Tribune Broadcasting to Lead DC Television Station
Tribune Broadcasting today announced Vincent M. Manzi has been hired as Vice President / General Manager of WDCW in Washington DC, where he will oversee the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the CW station. Manzi will begin his duties in July, reporting to Larry Wert, Tribune Broadcasting President.
Previously Manzi served as the SVP of Ad Sales at NBC Sports Boston, where he built the sales division from the ground up, overseeing including Local, National and Digital sales, as well as the unwired national network. Prior to his role at NBC Sports Boston, Manzi was the VP/GSM of FOX-TV in Philadelphia.

Manzi, who spent much of his career at Tribune stations, was the VP/GM at WLVI in Boston (formerly owned by Tribune Broadcasting) from 2000 to 2007, the Local Sales Manager at WPIX-TV in New York from 1995 to 1997 and WPIX’s National Sales Manager from 1993 to 1995. Manzi joined Tribune Broadcasting in 1988 as National Sales Manager for WGNO-TV, New Orleans, and became the station’s General Sales Manager in 1990. Prior to Tribune, he served as an account executive at MMT and Independent Television Sales (ITS), two sales representative firms in New York. He began his career in the media industry as a buyer at Griffin Bacall.
A native of New York City, Manzi holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing/advertising from Michigan State University.
