Three Tribune Broadcasting Stations Named Finalists For The National Association of Black Journalists Salute to Excellence Awards

July 6, 2017 – Tribune Broadcasting is pleased to announce three of its broadcast television stations have been named finalists for the National Association of Black Journalists Salute to Excellence Awards. The National Association of Black Journalists Salute to Excellence Awards honor exemplary coverage of African/African-American people or issues and highlight the work of media organizations and journalists across the nation in broadcast, digital and print journalism.

PIX11 in New York was a finalist in five categories and WGN in Chicago and DCW50 in Washington DC were each named finalists for awards.

The winners will be announced on August 12 at the NABJ Salute to Excellence Gala in New Orleans.
