Director David Allen “Tater” Terry was honored for his work as a technical director and his entry entitled, “More Than a Spacebar.”

The Midsouth Regional Emmy Awards recognize the best in broadcasting in north Alabama, Tennessee, and North Carolina with the exception of Asheville. The awards were presented January 21st the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville

“Tater Terry has distinguished himself in the industry as an exceptional newscast technical director. The fact that he has won this award three years in a row is remarkable, especially considering that he is up against peer competition from stations in much larger markets like Nashville, Raleigh and Charlotte,” said Denise Vickers, VP/News. “We’re immensely proud of him.  Viewers never see him.  But, his work behind-the-scenes is just as important to our overall success as that of those in front of the camera.”
