WGN-TV To Air “The Royal Wedding” Live Coverage This Saturday

CHICAGO, MAY 15, 2018 – Chicago’s Very Own WGN-TV will provide LIVE coverage of the royal wedding ceremony of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle taking place in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in Windsor, England this Saturday from 4-8am CT.  WGN Weekend Morning News anchors Sean Lewis and Tonya Francisco will be joined by Rev. James Dunkerley of the Episcopal Church of the Atonement in Chicago and Dr. Robert Bucholz, professor of history at Loyola University Chicago and expert on the English monarchy.  WGN-TV coverage will be simulcast on CLTV and streamed on WGNTV.com.

Prince Harry is the second child of Prince Charles and Princess Diana of Wales, and Markle is an American actress who’s most notably known for her role in the drama series Suits.  They met in July 2016 through mutual friends and it was announced November 27, 2017 that the couple were engaged.
