06 Feb WGN Radio’s Blackhawks Live Begins February 18 At Old Town Pour House
Patrick Kane and Andrew Shaw to be featured in first event
WGN Radio and the Chicago Blackhawks have announced the return of the broadcast series, WGN Radio’s Chicago Blackhawks Live, a series of one-hour radio broadcasts hosted over dinner throughout the 2012-2013 season featuring current Blackhawks players, legends, and front office executives with WGN Sports Night hosts David Kaplan, Brian Noonan, and Andrea Darlas.
The season premiere will feature Blackhawks forwards Patrick Kane and Andrew Shaw. The event takes place on February 18th at 7:00p.m. at Old Town Pour House at 1419 N. Wells in Chicago. Tickets for the event will go on sale Thursday, February 7 at 12:00p.m. and can be purchased by visiting www.chicagoblackhawks.com/blackhawkslive.
Tickets start at $50 per person and include a photo opportunity with the players, an autographed photo of Kane and Shaw, dinner, tax and gratuity. There is a four ticket maximum per person. The event doors open at 4:00 p.m., followed by event registration at 6:15pm and dinner and the live broadcast from 7-8 p.m. Valet parking is available for $12.
Blackhawks Live made its debut during the 2011-2012 season, with previous events selling out in record time. Each broadcast features a question-and-answer format between the WGN Radio hosts and the featured Blackhawks guests, and members of the audience also have an opportunity to submit questions for guests throughout the show.
Dates for the upcoming broadcasts are Monday, March 11 and Monday, April 2. Featured guests and possible additional broadcasts will be announced at a later date and posted to www.wgnradio.com/events.
