Tribune Broadcasting Names Nzinga Blake Executive Producer, Video Projects

Award-Winning Producer To Develop Content Across Station Group

Los Angeles, February 25, 2019 – Tribune Broadcasting today announced Nzinga Blake has been named Executive Producer, Group Video Projects. In this newly created role, Blake will be developing a diversity and inclusion storytelling arm and help innovate new formats of video storytelling across the group’s newsrooms.  This position is related to a grant awarded Tribune Broadcasting from The Google News Initiative/YouTube Innovation, Based in Los Angeles, Blake will report to Jason Ball, Vice President of Content Development, Tribune Broadcasting.

Blake, an award-winning producer and director with over ten years of experience in creating content on multimedia platforms, joins Tribune from CAUSECAST, where she served as the Chief Creative Officer overseeing the company’s impact generating campaigns and experiential marketing. She has also served as a Digital Creative consultant for the Africa Channel, overseeing the production and social media teams, a Producer and Writer for Season 2 of Google’s award-winning social initiative series GodComplx and a Creative Content Director at FOR GOOD, where her work raised awareness of arts related social impact campaigns. She also directed the United Nations ILO World AIDS Day PSA featuring Olympic Gold Medalist Greg Louganis and directed the gun-violence prevention social impact campaign for Everytown for Gun Safety.
