24 Mar The Miami FC Announces Partnership with the CW South Florida
Locally, Fans will be able to enjoy all 32 Miami FC matches in 2017
March 24, 2017 – The Miami FC is happy to announce the official local TV partner of the club is The CW South Florida. Fans in the greater South Florida area will be able to watch all 32 matches regardless of their cable package.
“Our entire organization is excited to enter into a partnership with WSFL, a South Florida community asset,” said Sean Flynn, CEO of The Miami FC. “We pride ourselves on being a team of the community and providing unparalleled access for our fans. This partnership will allow all Miami FC fans to watch each and every match during the 2017 season.”
“We are proud to be the exclusive local television broadcast partner for the Miami FC,” said Tribune Media VP of Operations/WSFL-TV Station Manager Chris Wayland. “The growth of Soccer in the South Florida market and the country is explosive and we are thrilled to partner with Miami FC to broadcast all of the action on The CW South Florida,” said Wayland.
The CW South Florida is channel 39 over the air, Comcast 11 or 435.
For the second year, the broadcast team will feature 28-year sportscasting veteran Bruce Silverman, as the Voice of the Miami FC. Joining Silverman as primary color analyst will be Juan Arango, who’s returning for his second season with Miami FC. Also joining the seasoned veterans is Hernan “Chico” Borja, former U.S. Men’s National Team and New York Cosmos player.
The Miami FC, South Florida’s only professional soccer team, kicks off its season, this Saturday, March 25 at 7:30 p.m. as they travel to take on North Carolina FC.
This match will be broadcast on The CW South Florida and ESPN 3.
