23 Aug Ted Winner Named PIX11 Morning News Senior Executive Producer
Award Winning Producer Joins PIX11 in September
August 23, 2017– PIX11, Tribune Broadcasting’s New York flagship television station, has named Ted Winner Senior Executive Producer for PIX11 Morning News. Winner will be responsible for the strategy and content for PIX11’s morning newscasts, on all platforms. He joins PIX11 on Sepetmber 11 and will report to Amy Waldman, News Director.
Winner joins Tribune from CBS Interactive where he was the Senior Producer of CBSN Live Programming, overseeing its streaming content. Prior to CBS, Winner held roles as CNN’s Manager of Weekend Live Programming and as Senior Producer of its morning show, “New Day.” He has also served as the Show Runner and Executive Producer for the NFL Networks new morning show, “Good Morning Football”, Senior Executive Producer of Morning Programming at the Weather Channel and Senior Broadcast Producer at ABC’s “Good Morning America.”

Winner has garnered numerous awards for his work, including an Alfred I. Dupont Award for ABC News’ live coverage of the death of Pope John Paul II, a George Foster Peabody Award for his work at CNN and five National Headliner Awards.

Winner holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Winner is a native New Yorker and lives in Manhattan. He has two children.
