PIX11, Tribune Broadcasting’s New York flagship station, has been honored by the New York State Broadcasters Association (NYSBA) with an Award for Best Spot News at the NYSBA’s summer conference ceremony at the Waldorf Astoria, in Manhattan last night.
PIX11 reporter James Ford and photographers Kenton Young and Ken Pelczar were honored for their work “Boston Bombing- Inside the Frozen Zone,” coverage of last year’s Boston Marathon bombing and the manhunt for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.
