NEW YORK, DEC 15, 2017 – PIX11, Tribune Broadcasting’s New York flagship station, has partnered with The Broadway Channel to present “Broadway Profiles,” a series of specials about Broadway. Hosted by PIX11’s Emmy-Award winning anchor, Tamsen Fadal, the latest installment, “Broadway Profiles: The Holiday Stars…” will air on PIX11 on Saturday, Dec. 17th at 6:30pm ET.
“Broadway Profiles: The Holiday Stars…” highlights this season’s holiday stars on Broadway with stories of the stage and the city including:
- Two-time Grammy Award Winner Jason Mraz is making his Broadway debut in the hit musical Waitress. And he’s about to be joined on stage by another music star, lyricist Sara Bareilles;
- The stars of the play The Parisian Woman – Uma Thurman, Josh Lucas, and Marton Csokas;
- Constantine Rousouli – the star of the new off-Broadway musical Cruel Intentions, featuring some of the best loved songs from the 90’s;
- The Lion King celebrates 20 years on Broadway, we talk to the man who plays Simba, Jelani Remy
- A School of Rock rewind. Celebrating ‘School of Rock’s two year anniversary on Broadway.
- Christmas – the play Dr. Seuss doesn’t want you to see. We’re touring the Whoville trailer park with the star of ‘Who’s Holiday’, Lesli Margherita, who plays Cindy Lou Who.
- Plus, an interview with the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall.
