Tribune Studios

Launched in 2013 and based in Los Angeles, Tribune Studios is the creative development arm of Tribune Media Company, producing original content for WGN America and Tribune’s 42 owned or operated local television stations across the country.

Tribune Studios co-produced the first-run original scripted drama “Manhattan,” which debuted on WGN America and the company’s local stations on July 27, 2014. Tribune Studios also co-produced Tribune Broadcasting’s “Celebrity Name Game” hosted by Craig Ferguson, which premiered in September 2014 on Tribune stations across the country.

Celebrity Name Game
Hosted by Craig Ferguson and produced by Courteney Cox and David Arquette, Celebrity Name Game is a game show that features celebrities and everyday people teaming up to identify the names of famous people, ranging from actors and athletes to fictional characters. The game is based on the popular board game ‘Identity Crisis’.

Set against the backdrop of the greatest race against time in the history of science — the mission to build the world’s first atomic bomb — “Manhattan” follows the brilliant but flawed scientists and their families in Los Alamos as they attempt to coexist in a world where secrets and lies infiltrate every aspect of their lives.

The Bill Cunningham Show
“The Bill Cunningham Show” is a topically driven daytime television talk show hosted by Bill Cunningham, an attorney and nationally syndicated talk radio host.

Since its debut in 2011, “The Bill Cunningham Show,” Tribune Broadcasting’s daytime talker, had won over audiences and outperformed in the demo across top markets. The 60-minute program taped its 500th episode in March 2014.

ITV Studios America produced “The Bill Cunningham Show” with a live studio audience at NEP Penn Studios in New York City.
