20 Feb Lorenzo Hall Joins FOX CT – Emmy Award-Winning Journalist Joins WTIC in Hartford on April 6
FOX CT, Tribune Broadcasting’s Hartford Fox affiliate, today announced Emmy award-winning journalist Lorenzo Hall will join the station as an anchor/reporter on April 6. Hall will co-anchor the 4pm news alongside Jennifer Bernstein.
Hall joins FOX CT from WTVR, Tribune Broadcastings’ Richmond, Virginia CBS affiliate, where he anchored CBS 6 News at 5pm and 530pm and served as an Investigative Reporter for CBS 6 News.
“Lorenzo’s anchoring and reporting skills will be put to good use here at FOX CT,” said Mark Oxton, interim General Manager, FOX CT. “We produce 9 and a half-hours of local news a day and adding Lorenzo to our team, a seasoned, solid journalist, will add to our extensive coverage of our great state.”
Prior to joining WTVR in 2008, Hall served as a general assignment reporter and weekend evening anchor at KOMU-TV, the NBC affiliate in Columbia, Missouri. In Missouri, Lorenzo also worked as a political reporter for one of the nation’s top-rated NPR affiliates, KBIA-FM and is a proud graduate of the University of Missouri’s School of Journalism. He began his media career in high school as a correspondent for BET’s award-winning talk show, “Teen-Summit.”
