KTVI & KPLR Nominated For Combined Twenty-Four Emmy® Awards by the Mid-America Regional Chapter

ST. LOUIS, August 20, 2018 – – KTVI/FOX 2 News, Tribune Broadcasting’s St. Louis FOX affiliate, received twenty-one 2018 Mid-America Regional Emmy® nominations. Sister station, KPLR 11, Tribune Broadcasting’s St. Louis CW affiliate, received two nominations. The stations shared one nomination. The Mid-America Chapter recognizes excellence in the television community primarily in Missouri, Arkansas and Illinois and surrounding DMAs:  St. Louis, Kansas City, Little Rock, Springfield (MO), St. Joseph, Columbia-Jefferson City, Joplin-Pittsburg, Quincy-Hannibal-Keokuk, Ottumwa-Kirksville, Davenport-Rock Island-Moline. Paducah-Cape Girardeau-Harrisburg, Champaign-Springfield (IL)-Decatur, Fort Smith-Fayetteville-Springdale-Rogers, Jonesboro, Monroe-Eldorado and Shreveport (LA).

KTVI was nominated in several categories, including Overall Excellence, Journalistic Enterprise, Community Service, Spot News, Investigative Report, News Weathercast, and more listed below.
