30 Nov KTVI FOX 2 in St. Louis Hires Reporter Molly Rose
ST. LOUIS, November 30, 2017 – – KTVI/FOX 2 News, Tribune Broadcasting’s St. Louis FOX affiliate, welcomes journalist Molly Rose back home to St. Louis, where she will serve as a reporter, weeknights.
Rose joins KTVI from WDAF, Tribune Broadcasting’s television station in Kansas City, where she spent three years as a reporter. Prior to that, she worked as a reporter/anchor at WVIR (NBC) in Charlottesville, Virginia, where she was recognized by the Virginia Associated Press for her work.
A graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism, Rose was the recipient of a 2014 National Edward R. Murrow Award for her work as an investigative reporter.
She grew up just across the river from St. Louis, in Edwardsville, Illinois, and graduated from Edwardsville High School. One of her favorite places in St. Louis is Forest Park. Rose loves her St. Louis Cardinals and is a huge animal lover, spending much of her time outside with her 7-year-old black lab rescue dog Avery.
“It’s been a lifelong dream of mine to work as a journalist in St. Louis,” said Rose.
