Sam Rubin and Jessica Holmes host syndicated shows with “Fashion Guy” Lawrence Zarian joining LIVE broadcast
February 11, 2016 – KTLA’s Entertainment team – Sam Rubin, Jessica Holmes and fashion correspondent Lawrence Zarian step on to the Oscar Red Carpet for “Live from theOSCARS®” – Sunday, February 28 to bring the most intimate interviews, “educated” predictions, excitement and Red Carpet glamour leading up to Hollywood’s biggest night. The show is LIVE from 3:00pm to 4:30pm PT on KTLA Channel 5, KTLA.com and syndicated on several Tribune stations (full list below.) The show will also repeat at 11:30pm PT.
KTLA’s award-winning entertainment coverage will begin at 2:00 pm with “Countdown to the OSCARS®”, a one-hour special that will also feature Sam Rubin and Jessica Holmes as they give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the movies and actors who are nominated for this year’s Academy Awards. Sam, Jessica, and Awards Expert, Tom O’Neil will also predict this year’s winners.
In both “Live from the Oscars®” and “Countdown to the Oscars®,” viewers will get a sneak peek into the coveted Academy Award Nominee Gift Bag and a chance to win a portion of the “celebrity swag” inside!
An encore of “Countdown to the OSCARS®” will air immediately after “Live from the OSCARS®” at 4:30 pm to carry viewers right up to the main event at 5:30 pm.
