July 6, 2017 – KSWB-TV (FOX 5), Tribune Broadcasting’s San Diego station, is pleased to announce the station was awarded three Emmy Awards by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Pacific Southwest Chapter. Overall, KSWB was nominated for eight Emmy Awards, winning three categories in total. The station was honored for Best Morning Newscast, Best Anchor and Best Historical/Cultural Story or Series.
