May 30, 2016 – KSWB-TV (FOX 5), Tribune Broadcasting’s San Diego television station, is pleased to announce FOX 5 Morning News, FOX 5 News at 4PM and FOX5 News at 10PM are #1 with Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54 in the May 2017 Nielsen sweeps period*.
This is the eighth consecutive month FOX 5 Morning News (M-F 7-9a) has ranked #1 with Adults 18-49 (0.7) and Adults 25-54 (.09).
FOX 5 is also the #1 news from 9-10AM (M-F) with Adults 25-54 for the last 8-consecutive months, and #1 with Adults 18-49 for 6-consecutive months, finishing May 2017 with a 0.5 for both Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49.
In the afternoon, FOX 5 delivers the #1 news from 4-5PM (M-F) with Adults 18-49 (0.4) in May 2017, a title also held in the February 2017 sweeps period.
FOX 5 News at Ten (M-F) also ranks #1 with Adults 18-49 (0.7) and Adults 25-54 (0.9) from 10-11:30PM, for the third consecutive May sweeps period.
