30 Mar David Shenfeld Named PIX11 Morning News Executive Producer
Emmy-Award Winning Producer Joins PIX11 on April 3
March 30, 2017 – PIX11, Tribune Broadcasting’s New York flagship television station, has named David Shenfeld the Executive Producer for PIX11 Morning News. Shenfeld will be responsible for the strategy and content for PIX11’s morning newscasts, on all platforms. He joins PIX11 on April 3 and will report to Amy Waldman, News Director.
“David brings a wealth of knowledge of morning television, as well as experience with talent and show development to PIX11. I’m excited to welcome him to the team as we continue to grow and develop the PIX11 Morning News,” said Amy Waldman, News Director.
A two-time Emmy award winner, Shenfeld has held Executive Producer roles at “Good Day, New York,” NBC’s “iVILLAGE,” and Verizon Fios/RNN. He has served as Senior Producer for CBS News’ “Early Show” and MTV’s “TRL.” His other production credits include the launch of fX Network, “Geraldo,” “Regis and Kelly” and Fox’s “Backstage on Broadway.” Most recently, he was Director of Talent and Development for FUSION, the ABC News/Univision multiplatform network.

Shenfeld was honored with two Emmy awards for his work at FOX5, Outstanding Morning Newscast and Best Primetime Special. A Long island native, Shenfeld holds a BA from the University of Rhode Island.
