CW33 To Air 40th Annual Dallas Mavs St. Patrick’s Parade and Festival Live On March 16

Dallas, Texas, March 13, 2019: This Saturday, March 16th CW33 (KDAF-TV), DFW’s local CW affiliate, will televise The 40th Annual Dallas Mavs St. Patrick’s Parade and Festival LIVE from the parade route on Greenville Avenue in Dallas starting at 11am and ending at 1pm. This year will mark the inaugural year the station has televised the parade and it will be the first of more parades to be broadcast by the station as part of their new brand rollout and community commitment.

“With our new station launch of ‘CW33, good fun’, broadcasting local parades is just one example of reinforcing our station’s brand as the place viewers can experience good fun,” said Station Manager Sara Fulmer.

The team from CW33’s new morning show, The Beat on 33, will host the live parade broadcast. The Beat on 33 is an alternative morning news and entertainment show that is a collaboration between CW33 and 97.9, The Beat radio station’s local morning show, La Veda Loca in the Morning.

“This parade is the perfect platform to debut our newest product and its four highly engaging and energetic hosts: Veda Loca, J-Kruz, Jazzi Black and DJ Kayotik,” says Fulmer. “If you’re not one of the 125,000 people at the parade this Saturday, you can still enjoy all of the parade pageantry from your own living room.”

The broadcast of The 40th Annual Dallas Mavs St. Patrick’s Parade and Festival is the first that the station plans to broadcast this year, with the Allen Ross Texas Freedom Parade on June 2nd at Fair Park, their new location, planned for the next live parade broadcast.

Viewers in the Dallas-Fort Worth DMA can watch the broadcast presentation of The 40th Annual Dallas Mavs St. Patrick’s Parade and Festival on Saturday, March 16th from 11 am-1 pm on CW33 or catch the encore presentation on Sunday, March 17th from 12-2 pm.
