In a head-to-head match-up Saturday and Sunday nights, the Blackhawks games on WGN-TV beat the World Series on WFLD-TV among Chicago Households and key demographic segments. Saturday night, the Blackhawks lost 3-2 to the St. Louis Blues in their first game since their playoff series last spring. Approximately 184,500 households tuned in Saturday night. Sunday night, the Blackhawks beat the Ottawa Senators 2-1 behind rookie goalie and Chicago area native Scott Darling. Approximately 165,600 households tuned in Sunday night.
The next WGN Blackhawks telecast is Sunday night at 8:00 vs. the Winnipeg Jets.
