12 Mar Andy Adler Named PIX11 Morning News Entertainment Reporter & Sports Anchor
Adler Joins PIX11 News On April 7
PIX11, Tribune Broadcasting’s New York CW affiliate, has named Andy Adler Entertainment Reporter and Sports Anchor and for PIX11 Morning News.
Adler, who had been working with PIX11 on special projects including PIX11’s Super Bowl coverage, will officially join PIX11 Morning News on April 7.
“After working with Andy during Super Bowl week, we knew she would make a great addition to our team, her talents and energy are the perfect complement to PIX11’s Morning News,” said Mark Effron, VP/News Director, PIX11.
Adler will relocate to New York from Los Angeles, where she was most recently at Time Warner Cable SportsNet as the host of the Los Angeles Lakers pre and post-game shows and host of “,” a live nightly show dedicated to sports in Southern California.
“Andy’s dynamic personality will be a great enhancement to the morning news team, and her extensive sports knowledge will be a catalyst for growth as we continue to develop PIX11’s newscasts and special sports coverage,” said Rich Graziano, President/GM, PIX11.
Adler has also held several positions at NBC in Los Angeles: co-anchor of “Today in LA Weekend Edition,” reporter for “Today in LA Weekdays” and host of the weekly sports segment for “Prime Time News LA.”
Prior to her positions at NBC, she served as Weekend Sports Anchor on WNYW in New York and co-host of Sunday’s “Sports Extra.” Adler was also the field reporter for the New York Giants pre and post-game shows at WNYW as well as the traveling reporter for New York Jets games on MY9.
Adler, whose first language is Spanish, was formerly the host of “American Latino TV,” a nationally syndicated, weekly magazine program and has held anchor positions at KESQ, CBS Palm Springs, CA and KSBW, NBC in Monterey/Salinas, CA.

Adler graduated with honors from Stanford University. She will officially join PIX11 on April 7.
